Marguerite Melanson of Foyer St-Thomas (formerly of Pré-d'en-Haut) passed away at her residence on Tuesday February 27, 2007 at the age of 96.
Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe Richard and the late Léa Cormier.
She is survived by a special grand niece Georgette (Bernard) LeBlanc; and her children Marc (Chantal), Martin (Chantal) and Sophie (Rodney); and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Melanson (1978); one special nephew, George (Anita) Auffrey (2006); three sisters, Irène, Léola and Séraphine; and by four brothers, Raymond, Dosithé, Vital and Elie.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral home, with the Funeral Mass held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Thursday March 1 at 9:30 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
